Fresh Georgia peaches

My wonderful hubby brought me home a box of fresh Ga. peaches the other day so let me tell you what all Ive done with them. I have made pickled peaches, peach cobbler, peach butter and even put some in the freezer. This is the first year that I have really tried to can anything , but it has all turned out pretty good. (ignore date on pics I think that camera has a mind of its own)
I do have to admit that I have gotten a little overwhelmed by all the foods to get canned or frozen. I have felt like I just cant get everything done that needs to be done. I have all these plans each morning but at the end of the day I just havent gotten it all done.
I made a post over at MJ's forum this am about not enough time to do things and the farmgirls have once again made me feel better about those feelings. So I am not going to worry about what doesnt get done because of course theres always tommorow.
If you havent had a chance to check out Mary Janes site heres the forward: http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/farmgirl-connection/
come on over and check it out my screen name is Ga. Girl so if you see me tell me hello!

Who knew you could do so much with peach! Sounds heavenly. I need to get back to the Farmgirl groups. They are a great bunch of gals over there. But you're right. So much to do and so little time.

Blessings,
Lea

I am jealous - not of the peaches, but of all the great things that you made with them. I wish you lived close by so I could come over and watch. I think I am a city girl (from New York) who should live in the country and make jam.

PS The only thing I seem to be getting accomplished here lately is sitting in front of the computer.
