Storing up the goods

God is so good he always knows our needs. He has made sure we have food even when I was wondering what we would have next. We have gotten a little out of our garden but thanks to friends and family I have been able to put food in the freezer. I have put up squash, collards, zucchini, tomatoes, and cabbage. I have made plum sauce, blueberry jam. I have even made zucchini bread and put some of that in the freezer. I have kale in the fridge now waiting to be washed and put in the freezer. I hope to go get more blueberries to freeze for cobblers. Yum!
I also wanted to give you a little glimpse into some of the things that we see around here on this farm from time to time. I just happened to see these little mice as I walked by a tree. The dogs had given them a scare and they were trying to find protection.

Lulu is suppose to be my youngest sons dog but shes a mommy's girl. Here she had been rolling in a big pile of dirt. She is really darker that the pic because of her playing in the dirt you cant tell her true colors. She is such a sweet pup!
Well that's all for now but I'm going to my granny's b-day (89th) tomorrow. So there will be more news then. Hope everyone has a great weekend! Blessings.

Yes, God is our provider, isn't He? Such a blessing to have folks share their harvest. I came home yesterday to a bag of yellow squash and tomatoes. I feel so blessed indeed!

Blessings,
Lea
