So much time has passed....

since I was last here and so much has gone on since that time. Where do I even begin? Well I guess i could tell you the biggest thing which happened not the best but the biggest was we lost our home to a fire 4 dys before Christmas. If you have ever had this unpleasant experience you know how it feels, if you haven't I pray you never have too. We lost pretty much everything we owned. God is good and brought us through with our heads held high. We now have a new home 3 miles from the old homeplace. It is farther back in the woods on 4 acres and we just love it.
Since that time my oldest son has moved back home so its back to the 5 of us and each day I continue to pray for my 3 boys. I am trusting Christ to keep them and I know that he will bring them all to salvation in his time. I will continue to learn what patience is and trust in my precious father's word.
I have become a more sympathetic person, I believe, and I pray that with each day that I have that I can grow closer to Christ and look forward to the day when I see all my family in church and praising him! God's goodness shines forth everyday, this month my husband and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. I am so blessed to have such a loving husband, who took me and my 3 boys and has never looked back. I love him more with each passing day. I know now what True Love really is, and again I have to thank God for bringing him into our lives. One day I hope and pray my boys will see what this man who although is not their biological father but has been more of a father to them than the blood father ever has will have their eyes opened to see what he has truly done for them and given to them all unselfishly.
Well I guess this is my praise report that we have made it thus far and with Gods help will continue. I pray that each person that reads this will be blessed in whatever need you may have, until next time friends. Love and Blessings, Karen

Wow! We had seen the devastation of the Station Fire last year, but are fortunate that we do not live in or too close to the mountains or hills. I would be devastated if something were to happen here. The good thing is that you and your family are safe. God Bless

Knowing that Jesus is the answer for everything and everywhere in our life that we allow Him, makes your post shine like the ray of sunshine you are, sweetie.
Sorry that I have been so conspicuously absent lately. You know me, life is one big adventure. Never have enough time for myself these days.
Blessings in abundance
