Our weekend.....

started out wet! We loaded the trucks with it raining then we went on the road with it raining but thank the good Lord, it stoped raining about an hour from the campground and didn't rain the rest of our trip. We really had a good time. The first night was pleasant and the second night got a little cold but over all we had a good trip. Went hiking and trout fishing. Can you see the dog rock ?(the circle is the eye). Cant say much for the fishing but the leaves and scenery was gorgeous. If I knew I wouldn't freeze this weekend I'd be ready to go back the worst part of the trip is always the drive there and back. My mother in law went with us and a little friend of Dylan's. Then a couple of guys we used to go to church with came up late Fri. night, and of course hubby(Josh)(pic of him and Lulu in hammock) , Devin, Dylan and I went. We came back yesterday and stoped at several little shops on the way back home. The first place was a little antique shop and the second place was a place in Tiger Ga called Goats on The Roof. (There's a pic of it it says country store), we also stoped by a great little farmers market (pic of pumpkins )which also had fall games going on, a corn maze , hay rides and alot of other fun fall activities. The name of the place is Jaemor Farms in Alto Ga. in if you ever get by there I recommend stoping in. They have alot of goodies in the farmers market and the prices are not bad either. We bought some sweet potatoes , granny smith apples, candy roaster, pepper jelly, scuppernong cider and lots of fun pumpkins! We didn't get to do any of the fall activities as we had a good ride still ahead of us and wanted to get back closer to home before the sun went down. Cant find my camera!

So I cant post my pics yet but I hope to find it before we leave to go on our camping trip today cause I want to take pics there too. So when I get back I promise I will get some pics up of the crafts, and maybe even some camping pics. I hope you all have a great weekend! Blessings, Karen

Craft Fair is Finally Over

and after all the long hours of crafting I sold one pair of earrings. What a disappointment! There were alot more people there this year but I don't think anyone sold much. People are just to scared to spend or just don't have the money to spend at all. So I am going to give you all a chance to buy them first and then if I don't have any takers I will put the rest on etsy. So for the next few weeks I will try and put a few things on every other day and if you are interested in anything you can just email me.
Fall has seemed to have come to stay this year it has really stayed cooler this year usually we get a taste of fall then the warm weather comes back and we get a few more weeks of warm weather but this year the cool has come and stayed. Which is I hope a good sign we have not had a good cold winter here in Georgia in the last several years and each year we don't the bugs want to take us over so I am hoping for a cold winter.
So many things have gone on here since my last post I don't even know where to start so I'm not even going to try. I am going to try and get around to every ones blog today and tomorrow. I feel like I have missed so much and I probably have, I have missed each of you. Well until tomorrow. when I start showing some crafts. I hope each one has a very blessed day! Love ya !

Hello!

Long time getting back. Sorry it has taken me so long since we started schooling again every day has been rather long. So I have had to put certain things aside, and well being be have to eat and have clean clothes and a clean(somewhat) house to live in my computer has not seen me much.

I hope you are all doing well. Hasn't this fall weather been great? I just love the cooler weather. We built a small bon-fire last night and enjoyed some outside time. I took a cute pic of some of the cats with Mr. pumpkin the poor fellow cant stand in peace the cats just wont let him. I also wanted to share a few more pics of the crafts I have done. A few earrings and the other is magnets I have made. Thanks so much to all those who drop in so regular and I apologize for not keeping new post up. I hope to at least get one up a week. Fall Decor....

More Crafts

I know I haven't been posting a lot lately so I wanted to share some more of the things I've been making for the arts and craft fair. (Please ignore my dirty pool table it has had lots of accidents over the last 10yrs.) The little packages with the white background is eye glass cords for glasses. As you can tell the rest are necklaces . I have been busy trying to make all types of different things so I have a nice variety of items. I just cant figure out prices because I don't know how much to charge in our little Poe dunk town. I of course don't want to cheat myself nor do I want to bring it all back home. I am thinking about opening up an etsy shop after the craft fair is over. So any of you with shops please pass along advice on dos and don'ts. Any advice would be appreciated.

I plan to try and get my fall decor things out today if everything goes well. I will post pics when I get it up and decorated. Thanks to all who come by and visit. I don't change my blog everyday but I do try to get by yours at least every other day if not everyday. Time passes

Good Friday morning everyone. Sorry I haven't been on in a few days. Things have really been busy here, getting ready to start school Tuesday and I am doing a craft fair in Oct. and have been really busy trying to get things made for that show. I want to thank Heather and Dena for the lovely awards. I just have not had time to get them up. I have my aunt Judy coming in this weekend and I think my mom and I are going to try to go do something while my aunt is here to go stay with my grandmother. My mom never gets to go do anything really because she goes to the nursing home to see my grandmother everyday. So I'm going to take her to Smileys in Macon Ga. which is a big flea market. We both love old stuff and flea markets are great places to find goodies. My boys even like alot of old things so I try to find things for Christmas gifts when I'm out and about without them which is rare.

I cant wait until next week. I made myself wait until the first of Sept. to decorate for fall. So next week I get to decorate. It will be so fun as this is my favorite time of year.

It is hard to believe that Labor Day is here so soon. Time sure does pass by so quickly the older I get. I remember when I was little I thought 1 day took forever. Now 1 week passes by and it seems like 1 hour. Do any of you ever feel like you just don't cherish the precious time we have? I feel like I just don't get those little memories or remembrances in with my kids and family like I use to. I have slowed down alot but it seems like I still don't get to do things with my kids or hubby like I would like to. Do any of you have any suggestions on how or what I can do to make some special memories. My oldest is 17 , the middle is 14 and the baby is 11 and I want to make the most of the time I have left with them as I can. The oldest is already planning to move out and get an apartment. So I may have waited to long. Anyways any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hope each of you have a special Labor day with your families. My hubby and oldest son are working this weekend. So I will enjoy the time with my mom and her sister.
