Valentine Giveaway and more!

Good morning everyone! I just wanted to remind you of my Valentine giveaway please make sure you get your name in the hat before the last day of January. You can read the rules down below on the post with the giveaway and pic. Also don't forget my friend Barbara's Valentine giveaway as well over at http://theserenityroom.blogspot.com/. Lots of fun from both!
I have been really busy trying to finish up some of the items for my etsy shop for Valentines. I haven't had the chance to even decorate my house. I better get busy time is going by so fast! Are you and your sweety doing anything special for Valentines? Do you buy gifts or is it just another day? I buy each of my kids, hubby and mom a gift each year and I'm always on the look out for new and different ideas so please feel free to send some my way. Normally each year hubby and I take a 3 or 4day getaway since my birthday is on the 10th we celebrate both together. We have always loved the mountains so we unusually go to North Georgia. Young Harris is one of our fav spots we love to hike and antique, but with the way the economy is this year I'm kinda afraid to make any plans. Yes you know I have to make the plans hubby would never make plans. He loves to go he just doesn't like to plan. So I really would like to do something special but just have no idea as to what.
Well I better run and get the boys started with their schooling. Ya'll have a great day and stay warm! Blessings, Karen

I LOVE Valentine's Day. :)
And yes, we do buy little gifts for each other. Nothing big, but just a little something. I also try to make little goodies for my mom, Nana and Aunt(s). It's easy to over-do it, actually!! But so fun. And if it makes someone feel special, then it's all worth it. :)
Have a wonderful day!!

Thank-you for the laundry instructions I am looking forward to making it. I am knowen in my family as the giver of practical gifts. So they all know for Christmas and birthdays they will get sissors, windex, papertowels ect.ect.I always find a cool useful gift that they can't wait to try the sham wow went over well this year and if all goes well they will all get a batch of homemade laundry soap this year.Is it true you only need one or two tablespoons per load? I had 3 brothers no sisters, 2 sons no daughters. Now I have 3 step-daughters and I thank God everyday I had boys. Our youngest daughter blessed us with my beautiful grandson, and only a mother of sons knows they get into everything and they are loud and I am so thankful for them. Have a nice day. Keep warm
