Happy Halloween!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Halloween! Hope everyone will have a safe time trick or treating and those who are going to do the Fall Harvest instead have a great time as well! Just enjoy spending time with your families.

What was your favorite costume or memorable Halloween? I dont really remember about dressing up much, I do know I went as a punk rocker when I was a little older. But my favorite thing about halloween was no not candy, but getting to watch the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! I still love watching his videos I watch the thanksgiving video and the Christmas one too. So share with me your memories and have a great weekend and let me know if you see the Great Pumpkin! Homemade or Store bought?

I have been thinking about all this talk of homemade verses store bought and was wondering do you like handmade or are you one that likes store bought? I like homemade but I do know some people who don't have time to make things and do the store bought thing which is ok too. I used to get so upset because my granny would give me money every year instead of buying a gift I felt like she just didn't want to take the time to pick out a perfect gift. Now that I have grown up I realize that that was not it at all, it is just that she never really went anywhere that she didn't have to, she has always been content to stay at home. I also know that it should not have mattered what I got it was the thought that counted, but I have to admit I was a spoiled brat. Anyhow I just wanted to get your insights on the subject.

I am also sharing 2 sets of napkin ring pics and 2 pics of tea towels I have made. The tea towels are $7 each and the napkin rings set of 4 is $8 and the 6 is $10. Thanks to everyone for the sweet comments. I am going to try to set me up an etsy but don't own a credit card so have to figure out how to set it up without one if possible. Any advice is appreciated. Have a great Thursday! Blessings, Karen

Jewelry!

Ok what girl doesn't love jewelry? Here are a couple of sets I made they are gift boxed and ready to be wrapped for a great gift for you or someone special. You can see the price in the boxes. If you are interested let me know.

I have been doing alot of fall cleaning since we got home. For some reason I do more cleaning in the fall than spring. I guess this cooler weather makes me want to stay warm so I do more cleaning. Plus with the holidays coming up on us I always want everything to be nice and clean, but guess what with 3 boys that never last long. So I just do what I can. Anyways I am trying to get some of my Christmas gifts together we have so many to buy for it always takes awhile. If any of you make homemade goodies and would want to do some barting please let me know I love barting for homemade goodies for my Christmas gifts. The only problem is sometimes I fall in love with the barter and don't want to let it go.

Well I'm going to get busy hope you all have a great day! Blessings, Karen

I will continue to list things on if there is anything you are interested in or what to see just let me know. Thanks for all the sweet comments about my crafts. I really enjoy doing them it is my stress relaxer I guess! Now I better go get the kids schooling started. Have a great day!

I will only charge what the actual cost of shipping will be , if you want delivery confirmation I will also add that but its not but about a dollar if my memory is correct. I will take money orders or personal cks (checks will have to clear bank before I mail items) Just for security reasons. Thanks for looking. Blessings!

Our weekend.....

started out wet! We loaded the trucks with it raining then we went on the road with it raining but thank the good Lord, it stoped raining about an hour from the campground and didn't rain the rest of our trip. We really had a good time. The first night was pleasant and the second night got a little cold but over all we had a good trip. Went hiking and trout fishing. Can you see the dog rock ?(the circle is the eye). Cant say much for the fishing but the leaves and scenery was gorgeous. If I knew I wouldn't freeze this weekend I'd be ready to go back the worst part of the trip is always the drive there and back. My mother in law went with us and a little friend of Dylan's. Then a couple of guys we used to go to church with came up late Fri. night, and of course hubby(Josh)(pic of him and Lulu in hammock) , Devin, Dylan and I went. We came back yesterday and stoped at several little shops on the way back home. The first place was a little antique shop and the second place was a place in Tiger Ga called Goats on The Roof. (There's a pic of it it says country store), we also stoped by a great little farmers market (pic of pumpkins )which also had fall games going on, a corn maze , hay rides and alot of other fun fall activities. The name of the place is Jaemor Farms in Alto Ga. in if you ever get by there I recommend stoping in. They have alot of goodies in the farmers market and the prices are not bad either. We bought some sweet potatoes , granny smith apples, candy roaster, pepper jelly, scuppernong cider and lots of fun pumpkins! We didn't get to do any of the fall activities as we had a good ride still ahead of us and wanted to get back closer to home before the sun went down. Anyways that was out weekend and hope you all had a great weekend too. Let me hear what you did this weekend! Blessings!
P.S. I will post first pic of crafts tommorow, that will be for sale.

Craft Fair is Finally Over

and after all the long hours of crafting I sold one pair of earrings. What a disappointment! There were alot more people there this year but I don't think anyone sold much. People are just to scared to spend or just don't have the money to spend at all. So I am going to give you all a chance to buy them first and then if I don't have any takers I will put the rest on etsy. So for the next few weeks I will try and put a few things on every other day and if you are interested in anything you can just email me.
Fall has seemed to have come to stay this year it has really stayed cooler this year usually we get a taste of fall then the warm weather comes back and we get a few more weeks of warm weather but this year the cool has come and stayed. Which is I hope a good sign we have not had a good cold winter here in Georgia in the last several years and each year we don't the bugs want to take us over so I am hoping for a cold winter.
So many things have gone on here since my last post I don't even know where to start so I'm not even going to try. I am going to try and get around to every ones blog today and tomorrow. I feel like I have missed so much and I probably have, I have missed each of you. Well until tomorrow. when I start showing some crafts. I hope each one has a very blessed day! Love ya !
